A: I don’t know. I checked the manufacturer website and it states specifically for saniflo.due to the grinder and motor.
A: I’m sure it could be, but why would you spend the extra money when there are plenty of cheaper alternatives. This cleaner is made specifically for macerating toilets that can’t use harsher toilet cleaners.
A: I don't think it would hurt anything but I have only used it in my upflush toilet
A: I would say probably not. For the Saniflo you have to unplug the pump power then pour the amount required into your toilet then flush and let it sit in your Saniflo tank and let it sit for 6 to 8 hours. Then you fill your tank with water and plug your pump back in and flush 2 to 3 times. I and figuring if you flush this down a regular toilet it will just go down the drain and probably will not descale or have time to descale your sewer lines..
A: This descaler is not really designed for the toilet. It is intended for the plastic maserating pump. I would not use it. I use vinegar and it works great. Buy a gallon of cheap vinegar at the supermarket. Empty the toiler of water using a sponge. Pour in the vinegar. Take toiler pager and wet it with the vinegar and stick the clumps of wet paper up under the rim or wherever there is scale. Re wet the paper periodically so it stays wet. It may take a few days, depending on the scale. But eventually the vinegar will break down the scale. On my toilers it was had as cement and it would not come off, but the vinegar took care of it. Its not quick but it works.
A: Sorry but Saniflo is not going to recommend that you use there descaling liquid on an other manufacturers product. I Would suggest you contact liberty and see what they recommend using the the Ascent II. There number is 800 543 2550.
A: Although I am not acquainted with a Liberty Pump I will guess it is possible. Ours is a SaniFlo pump with the toilet and run it with a shower as well.
A: Sorry Paul. I do not have a sds for this product
A: Yes it is on the product listing page. Scroll down the Home Depot product listing page to the header "Info and Guides" Under that you will find a PDF labeled SDS
A: there is now one on this page.
A: For having SDS papers, NO, as this had been used before in our SaniFlo pump up toilet system. The item was shipped as our local Home Depot does not stock; and there were not SDS papers shipped with the cleaner. I had done reading online previously as well as reading the entire label on the jug. Hopefully, this well help you. by "sprite"
A: I follow the instructions on the container and haven't had any problems.
A: My saniflo manual stipulates using this product EVERY 3 MONTHS...
A: I use a half a bottle every 6 months for maintenance.
A: It is recommended you use it every 6 months.
A: I read that it’s recommended every six months or as needed.
A: Scale is a build up of contaminate found in the potable water. Thus the frequency of using a descaling product would depend on your water quality and the amount use the unit gets. For example I live in an area with very good municipal water quality and have never used the descaling liquid. I have talked to others who say they need to use it. Thus I can not offer you a universal rule of thumb.
