About This Product
Each kit pack includes a certificate of completion, an apron pin and a Kids Workshop apron. Easy enough for a 5-year old, but fun for all ages, this pre-cut wooden kit encourages creativity and instills a sense of accomplishment. You will learn to hammer and create really cool stuff in less than an hour. Parents of younger children will have fun working with them on this project. Parts are made of wood and kit includes all necessary assembly hardware. Can be used as-is or painted or stained and adorned with stickers or stamps. Hello does anyone know if they offer a monthly subscription? Every month they send you out a new one? i know you can order them online but a yearly subscription would be cool.
At this time a subscription service is not available.
Do I need to pre register for a Kids Project event? And if not how early before it starts do you recommend we be there?
Online registration is not required but encouraged. Early arrival is recommended however it may vary depending on your store.
How does it get put together? Do you need tools, paint or glue extra?
Instructions are included with each kit that detail how to put this kit together. Hardware is included but tools, glue, and paint are not.
I'm confused, for the kid's workshop on the 1st Saturday of the month are the kits free or we have to buy them?
If you are at the store for the workshop or the store has left over kits available, they are free. If you cannot make it to the store or the store is out of kits after the workshop, you can order them for $4.98.

How old do the children have to be
I took my son when he was 3 and we just helped him build it.
It depends on the child, but Home Depot generally recommends ages 5 and up for their workshops. We let our daughter start when she was 4, but she needed a lot of help with the nails and screws.
