The instructions made the installation very easy! Installed the door lever the same day I picked it up in about 1/2 hour. Of course the holes required were already present as I was replacing an old one. I even had to reverse the levers and the instructions made it clear how to do it. Really pleased!

Solid and Beautiful
This entry lever replaced a contractor-grade Kwikset, and was intended to match the deadbolt, which was also a Kwikset replacement (Schlage Camelot Touch). Unlike the deadbolt, it was a direct replacement for the Kwikset - no drilling or mortise work required. This entry lever engages smoothly and solidly every time, which is important for the automatic lock feature of the Schlage deadbolt. The finish is flawless, and I have every confidence that it will stay that way.
Honestly, I would rate this product 5 star all the way were it not for the fact that the trim plate had "play" in it, even after the screws were fully tightened (and yes, I had the recommended door width and was using the correct screws). This minor issue was easily solved by inserting a gasket I made from sheet rubber, using the old trim plate as a template. It probably wouldn't have been a problem, and some people might not even notice, but I'm just a perfectionist that way. :-)

difficult to impossible to reverse inside handle direction. Design poor to do so simply. Made the product WORTHLESS.
