A:  Hello there! Our Schlage Encode is a motorized lock that auto-locks after a set amount of time. Once you have the device and pair it to a Smart Phone, you can modify how long that auto-lock feature is.

          I truly love this lock. I played around with all of them in the store and decided to spend the extra cost because this lock felt great/solid and loved its function. Now that I have it installed I know I made the right choice.. You can lock and unlock your front door from anywhere using your cell phone. You can even create multiple codes to get in the door. I highly recommend this to anyone.
