BEST WiFi deadbolt available
This lock is the second one I've installed by myself on a rental property I own. SO easy to install, easy to use. The app is simple and functions well. The lock itself looks great and functions well.
My renters of every age love it. Some have gone home and installed the lock on their own residence.
No experience with other digital locks. Why bother, I already have the best one...

This is a replacement for an existing first generation competitor lockset. Very pleased. Installation took minimal time as I am familiar with the process but for someone wanting to install this lock it should take less than 1 hour. The instructions are excellent. Refer to the programming instruction on the Schlage website as there are many models and youtube refers to the earlier model.

I have just finished installing two Schalge Encode locks - it was incredibly easy and they are beautiful! I ordered them from Home Depot on-line, so when they arrived I brought them into my local Home Depot and a very nice sales associate re-keyed them for me so they can both open with the same key if need be. I have never actually installed a new lock before, but the step by step installation instruction booklet (with pictures) that is included in the box is excellent. Both locks installed extremely quickly. Other than a small area of touch-up paint that's needed on one door due to the different shape of the old lock, the old locks were off and the two new ones were installed in less that two hours. I am actually shocked at how well this whole project went! I have downloaded the Amazon Key app and was able to immediately sync both locks to our home wi-fi and can now lock and unlock each one from my phone - if I need to - as well as using the lock's key-pad. I cannot speak to their durability, but they certainly seem well constructed and beautifully designed to me.
