Product Details

Rondec is a finishing and edge-protection profile for tiled edges and outside wall corners. The reveal creates a rounded edge along the tile. It is ideal for finishing the edge of tiled backsplashes, countertops and niches. The Rondec profile has an integrated joint spacer which ensures a uniform grout joint between the tile and profile. Inside and outside corners for the Rondec profile are available separately.

            The trim os great around our shower stall. It gave a nice finished look. I did not want to use beveled edge tile in my design. I also used it around my tub. One thing I would point out is that it does present a raised edge and will make the tile look slanted if you don't use enough mortar to balance it out. I tried to keep the tile uniform and after a few rows I got the hang of it. I caulked everything after I grouted and it really looks nice. I have had it up about a month and everyone did complement the finished look.

              Not sure why they don't regularly carry this in the store instead of having to order it. This is the perfect color and thickness match for regular subway tile.
