Haven't had the unfortunate event of using it just yet, however it's been almost a month since I last charged it and it has stayed fully charged ever since! Great product!

i had my Schumacher Battery Extender 12-Volt, 400 Amp Battery Jump Starter for a month now. It's a very good tool to have . I use my battery jumper to start my lawnmower, and to run a small water pump,I also use it to test my trailer lights , and a few more thing around the house. i bought this battery jumper for it's small size and light weight. Just a little FYI, this is a 400 amp. so it will start my 2009 chevy pickup . But i thing that the most it will start.

The unit would not fully charge. Indicator lights did not behave according to the instructions. Help line never called me back. It was my first Schumacher purchase - I had thought they were a reputable company.

This good product . it holds power for about 8 to 10 weeks.I recharge every 8 weeks.I would prefer if the charging plug had some sort of cable.Just make sure what is your cars power requirements are every engine types have different power requirement for Jump start .
