          Bad quality
I have used this battery extender about 5 times only and it stop working. It shows fully charged but doesn't do anything anymore. Look for some other brand if you're looking to buy one.

Good unit for emergency situations, and gives you aux power for tablets, PC's etc.
750 amp jump starter First thing, this is not a battery charger, it is a jump starter, I actually thought it was both and that was my fault for not reading the description more clearly. The unit is nicely made and well thought out, it includes short jumper cables for jumping your car, a built in compressor, and a cigarette lighter power port and a usb port. Which can be used ot power a laptop, charge phones and tablets, etc. so right off the bat it has a bunch of good uses beyond the car. Before you can even think about using the unit, it must be charged for 36 hours, it does come half charged but it very clearly states that the unit must be fully charged, and must also remain plugged in when not in use to keep the battery up to level, the manufacturer states there is no concern of the unit being overcharged, so keep this in mind when considering options. My pickup truck had been sitting for a few months and I thought this was a really good opportunity to try out the jump start feature; the battery was not dead but was showing 11 volts, which as far as car batteries go, is essentially dead and gives the familiar clicking sound. I hooked up the cables and powered it up, I let it sit until it showed 12 volts and then was able to start the truck, so I count that as a victory. This is the type of unit that will come in handy on cold winter days when the battery is half dead due ot the cold and will get you out of a jam. The compressor worked ok, not great, and I have a battery powered unit made by Ridgid which works 100 times better, but, this will get you back on the road if you go to change a flat and find the spare is low. I was able to run my laptop and charge my phone with the unit as well. My opinion is that if I was doing this again I would buy the larger 1200a unit which would give a higher level of confidence in jumping a car, the compressor is meh, but the portable power option is a great feature. Good unit overall

Great, but too big for my truck
Bought this for my truck because of the larger peak amp jump starter but the overall form factor is too big to fit in the storage area under or behind the back seats. It's very large in all dimensions. It does fit pretty nicely in the trunk of my car so that's where it stays. I've used it once to jump a Honda minivan (V6) that hasn't been started in 2 months and it worked instantly. The tire inflator works well. It's doesn't have an auto stop, you need to watch the gauge, but it had no problem topping off all my tires. The unit seems to charge fast and it has everything else on it I would want - 12v power, USB power, and a light. It's also not very heavy. Well worth the price if you have the room for it

Nice to Have - Not Glove Friendly
The Schumacher Pro 1200 Peak Amp Power Station, jump starter, power supply, air compressor, and vehicle jump starter looks impressive. It has valuable features: 120 v AC power supply plugin, 12 v DC powerport, 100 PSI digital air compressor, 4 Port USB hub, flexible LED flashlight, and jump starting cables. It's definitely not compact. About the size of a crockpot. All power ports and the air pump seemed to work well. I used the USB chargers on my Android phone; it was mind bogglingly slow to charge on all of the 4 ports. No fast charge despite the manufacturer claims. I plugged my CPAP machine into the 120 V AC port. I watched the battery charge drain within 20 seconds from 100% to 65%. Then it stopped the precipitous drain and stabilized. I don't know how long the CPAP would have run, but certainly not a full night. The major weakness of this power station is definitely the built in swivel plug on the back. This is what is used to charge the internal battery. It is hard to access. Not easy to pull the prongs down unless you have bare fingers. So, if you have gloves on forget it. It is not secure in its locking position. It wiggles around. It wiggles around when the prongs are pulled down. And it is difficult to get a full and solid connection with the not included power plug. I could certainly see the AC power plug input breaking at some point and rendering the device useless. The air hose is also difficult to access because the access hole is quite small. Again, nearly impossible if you have gloves on. Again, if you're out in the cold, you'll have to take off your gloves to operate this device. This unit should have little feet on the bottom to keep the body of the charger off the ground, but it doesn't. If you are out in the wet and need to use it, you will need to take care to keep it out of the any water on the ground. The nice flexible LED flashlight does not come out of its holder very easily. I thought it was might break for a second but it was fine. Just stiff. The instruction manual isn't very easy to follow and there is a lot of information. So do not throw it away or lose it. Overall, it is a nice unit. I would recommend it just because it's better than having nothing. There are several improvements that could be made. But again, it's better than having nothing.

            works great
Schumacher Electric Schumacher Pro Automotive 12-Volt 750 Peak Amp Jump Starter and Portable Power Station with 150-PSI Air Compressor This is a handy little power station and air compressor to have available. It's a good size and light weight, easy to take where you need to use it. Charging the internal battery was fast and easy. The air compressor works well, maybe a little slow to inflate larger things, but still works well topping off things and comes with a few different attachments to inflate different things. The jump starter works well too and has hookup safeguard. It has a few different outlets like 110v ac and usb. I haven't used them, but that seems like a good option to have if you need to power some lower power users with the battery pack. Overall, I'm happy with the operation of this and glad I got it. It's a nice thing to have around.

            Great Features
I got two of these Schumacher jump starters - a small one for the car, and a big one for the truck, which has a much bigger engine. I waited until the truck needed a start, and then tried the smaller jump starter on it. After a moment's hesitation, it turned over and started up. If the 750 amp starter will do the truck engine, then it will certainly do the much smaller car engine, and the 1200 amp starter should have no problem starting the truck. Both have similar features. The built-in compressor is very handy for emergency tire fills. Both units have lights and an array of USB ports, and the larger one has a 120 volt outlet as well. One thing I really like about the design is the pop-out charging plug, that fits any extension cord. No custom cord or adapter to worry about. I plan to keep each of these in its vehicle, and periodically charge it from a 12 volt inverter.

            Lots of features
We got the Schumacher Pro Automotive 12-Volt 750 Peak Amp Jump Starter and Portable Power Station with 150-PSI Air Compressor to keep around the house for all those little problems that come up. It jump starts our vehicles easily with eight gage booster cables, however, the cables are just over a foot long and you need to be almost on top of the battery in order to hook it up. It does have an alarm to warn you if you hook it up incorrectly, which is great. The compressor is not that powerful. It takes a while to pump up a tire and it tends to overheat if you use it too long. It has a work light and you can charge 12 volt devices and it has a USB port. Overall, it is a handy device to have around.

Rich in features a little clunky
Great as a gift. It has a lot of nice features. It is a little clunky. The buttons and switches all work but don't have a modern feel. It takes up a lot of space. Definitely nice to have in an emergency. The air compressor is slow but did the job. I haven't had a chance to jump start yet and hope I never do... Love it!!
Where to start with all of the features of this jump starter kit? Well, for "starters"(haha, get the pun?), it isnt JUST a jump starter. It has so many features I didn't even realize until I got it. 1200amp power for jumping your vehicle, and a safeguard alarm if you're clumsy or car illiterate like I am, that will tell you if the clamps are improperly connected to the battery. Extra peace of mind for sure! The AC power outlet gives you freedom to power a small appliance, fans, etc. Camping anyone? This is coming with us for sure. It has a built in LED flexible light, a 12v port that states it can provide up to 54 hrs of power, FOUR USB ports(with 2x faster charging, though I haven't tried it yet) and a 100psi air compressor capable of adding air to your car tires. Upon opening the package, there is a large red label that states the battery MUST BE charged for 36 hours BEFORE use, or it will void the warranty of the device. So keep that in mind before using.
