I understand how to load the dispenser, but I can't get the tape to release so I can start it....why don't you have a piece of paper or something at the beginning of the tape so I can pull it apart to load it into the dispenser? I have 10 I can't use.

Is it easy to use?
It doesn’t take much strength. Just stick the tape. drag, and cut. It’ll take a few tries to get the hang of it
No the cutter is terrible. It didnt cust the tape properly and out holes in the side odf the carton i was trying to seal.
Pull tape ,and be sure to lean tape gun back so the cut off blade raises out and cuts tape
No. I’m having trouble getting it to rip the tape
Attach tape to surface first and dispenser straight back to dispense tape then lean dispenser up and forward and twist to cut tape.

There is a fairly good guide on the paper instructions that come with this...BUT our dispenser did not work properly and on close examination we found that the rubber roller is misaligned. This really can't be fixed.

Instructions included are a bit cryptic. Load tape on to the mounting wheel. Next pull some tape out, push down the gate below the grey roller and pass tape through it. When the tape passes through the gate and over the roller, the sticky side will be pointed outwards.
Hard to describe in words - best if you go to You-Tube and search for 'how to load packing tape dispenser' and watch a few of the resulting videos.
Where in the store
No idea - I ordered online for pick-up in the store, so it was at Customer Service when I arrived. Generally, I have found the customer service people to be very helpful with locations of items. If you have a smartphone you can also find out from the Home Depot app.

I found this one in the paint section of the store. Not where the packing boxes are. In the packing section with the boxes, there is another brand dispenser but I don’t like the handle on that cream color dispenser. So get this one from the paint area.
In our store it is located in the painting accessories section, along with blue painters' tape, etc.
Its located near where they have the cardboard moving boxs at least thats where it was located at my store. But you know HD keeps moving things around so its best to ask an associate.
