Scratches horribly
These scratched the heck out of my sink and stainless steel pot: and didn't even get the discoloration off the bottom. I normally use sponges with the fibrous material on the scrubby side and have no issues with scratching, even when I use Bon Ami scouring powder. Huge waste of a 6 pack. For some reason all the grocery stores in my area have these almost exclusively and they probably don't realize how damaging they can be in everyday use.

Scratches Everything!
I bought these sponges last week. Title on the package should read “scratches things”. The feeling of the sponge, you would never expect it to scratch everything. I washed my pans, and it scratches the handles up. Use it on my silverware and scratched them as well. We just remodeled our kitchen and I tend to gently wipe my kitchen sink out with a sponge and dish soap to clean it. This sponge scratched my BRAND NEW kitchen sink. I am very disappointed with this and the damage it has done to my kitchen products. Attached are photos of the sponges, just an example of one of many silverware products and my kitchen sink you can see the scratches.

Scratch EVERYTHING
After using for less than a week, all my stainless steel pans and Henckels chef’s knives have scratch marks. Awful product.

Scratched my stainless steel appliances
Definitely not scratch proof,I just cleaned my stainless steel appliances and scratched the whole face of my oven! So aggravated and annoyed.

Ruined Silverware
3M please make the HEAVY DUTY more prominent in your packaging. These will scratch silverware!!! Not made for everyday use. I had been using the blue version with no issue then bought these and now all our silverware had microfine scratches instead of the polished look it had before. Really disappointed.

Scratches stainless steel pans!
Bought a brand new set of beautiful stainless steel pans and these scrub sponges say for pots and pans. Well it scratched the heck out of my pans and now I have to buy a new set. So disappointed.

Ruined my silverware
This is bizarre. I don't usually write reviews but for this sponge, after just using this once, it created weird round symmetrical scratches/patterns on my silverware that I can't explain. This happened to all the stainless steel items that I was washing. Unfortunately I won't be using this anymore. Can't afford to ruin more of my silverware. So sad.

Scrubs clean and stays clean!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me the Scotch-Brite Scrub Dots Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge to try and review. I used the sponge on every dish, pot, and pan in my kitchen. The Scrub Dots side of the sponge is non scratch so it was safe to use it on my non-stick pans. In my experience, other scrubbie sponges get food bits stuck on the scrubbie side which are difficult to dislodge. This Scrub Dots sponge did not have that issue. Any food bits just rinsed right off. The sponge was easy to use and keep clean.

Very disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a three pack of these sponges in exchange for my honest review.
I didn't know I could be so disappointed in a product. These sponges did not meet my expectations at all. They were supposed to be great to removed baked on food. I attempted to use these sponges on one of our baking pans. I felt like I worked harder with these sponges to wash the pan than the sponges did. There was a horrible residue left on the pan while using the sponges and no amount of soap used with these sponges removed the gray residue. I needed to use a steel wool style scrubber to remove the reside so that the pan could still be used.
The pictures attached to this shows how disappointing the sponges were.
