A:  These are very low lint and much less abrasive when compared to regular paper towels.

A:  I used it to clean off a windshield, but I would say the drawback is its not cost effective to do so. There are good lint free towels that might be found at Home Depot, either in cleaners or auto accessories... Know that newer TV have different ideas on cleaning the screens, many want you to spray on the towel and not the screen, and there recommendations also that you don't use plain Windex, but Windex For Electronics as an example.

A:  I need more information to answer your question effectively. If you are cleaning a dusty tv screen with a dry paper towel, of any kind, you will just be pushing the dust around. Use some type of liquid cleaner that is formulated for the type of screen you are cleaning. This will usually com in a pump spray bottle. Using the towel this way, it will work just fine. Don’t rub too hard, let the cleaner do the work.

They are ultra strong, durable paper towels for tough jobs like detailing cars, oil spills, stuck grim on counter tops, and deep cleaning. There is a dye used to make the paper towels blue so I would not suggest this be used with food. Everyday cleaning would be fine.

A:  Yes these paper towels are sterile clean just like any other paper towel but they are more absorbent with a heavier ply

A:  I am not aware of any added chemicals. I use them in the kitchen and with food all the time. They cost more than plain paper towels but are MUCH stronger also.

A:  Yes, this is safe for Kitchen use.

A:  These towels are more durable & absorbent than your typical kitchen paper towels and are great for general cleaning and maintenance. However, we do not test this product for food handling usages so are unable to recommend them for that use. Alternatively, our Viva paper towel brand is made with a similar material but is tested and approved for food-related uses.

A:  I soak them in an oxalic acid and glycerin mixture and they hold up fine for months

A:  I have not tried to use them this way, but I can say, I do use them to clean, season cast iron, etc. and they are very stong.

A:  That is an interesting question, and I am not sure I have a great answer. We buy these a lot because my husband has a boat motor repair business. They are very "sturdy" - thicker and more durable than even the best paper towels. However, I do not know what kind of disinfecting solution you are using. I would think soaking them in bleach would deteriorate most anything and weaken the fibers. If it is a relatively non toxic solution you're using, I would think it would work. I've used them for various things and they don't seem to break down easily. I wish I had a better answer for you but I've never attempted to do what you're asking about - soaking it in a solution. Hope it works for you :).

A:  I keep one in 90% alcohol. They hold up for a few weeks with very occasional use. They tend to break down more from the action of using them while wet (rubbing with them) than from the immersion.

A:  I am leaning towards yes, they are thick and I would think layering these might work really well as a fave mask. I am not sure how to test this but I would think several sections layered would be very useful against breathing in harmful things/

A:  I don't know about Scott but I know other Blue Shop Towels have a Calif Prop 65 warning which as you've probably figured out isn't a good thing. I'd call Scott to find out for sure before using.
