Yes, this product works on all types of screens, including solar screens.
I did not use it with the screens in the windows. You might want to try Mold Armor house wash for the mildew. It attaches to your hose or power washer. We have had great success with it on mildew and moss on the house.
I’m not sure on the mildew. But be careful of overspray on the crossbars holding the screens. The product severely discolored our plastic crossbars. We were able to restore with plastic polish and hand rubbing. The product did restore luster to our screens.
I would think you could cover 10 or more screens of that size. Worked well on our large porch screens but will damage (discolor) plastic so suggest you remove screens from windows and spray them somewhere where over-spray will not hit other sensitive surfaces.
No you don’t have to remove screens before spraying. You can just spray it on while the screen are in place.
I have used this product for many years and I am very happy with it. We have two homes. In one we must remove the screen in order to clean the window, so you may find yourself in that situation. In the other home we fold the windows in to clean them and could easily clean the screens in place. So I see no reason not to. However it is so easy to remove these screens, I do so and clean them outside and have not cleaned them in place.
We purchased this for our screened in porch but are waiting until spring to use. According to the instructions you can just spray on the screens while they are in place.
It seems better if you remove them to avoid over spray on the windows. I also sprayed both sides for a cleaner look.
This product does not clean screens as advertised. It’s not worth the purchase. Avoid...
