3½ & 1½ screen tite worked like expected. Job turned out great. Wasn't the best for finishing corners and angles but did what it was designed to do. Held screen, held spline, give it a nice finished look. Wish they were offered in 10 foot lengths.

I have used Screen Tight materials twice in the last 20 years and it is amazing and very easy to set up. I am not a handyman but my project came out awesome!!! The Screen Tight material is very durable and dependable and looks amazing when all finished. This Base product is consistent in its manufacturing and it's easy to cut to the specific size you may need. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to screening in a porch, as you will make it look like a professional did the work :)

Very easy installation. We were able to get the screen much tighter when we pulled it across the entire side and cut the screen as we installed the spline. Will definitely use again.

I'm lovin' this system
This system is really as easy to use at it says, and our resulting porch looks very good and functions well. This is good for a DIY project. Pushing in the screen with the spline takes quite a bit of hand strength, and working high up on a ladder (if necessary for your project) can be a challenge, though. Hints on additional tools for this job: --Lath screws work well for attaching the base to wood framework--flat enough not to interfere with the trim and wide enough for good contact on either side of the pre-drilled holes. --To make the project go faster, it would be helpful to have 2 drills--one with a screwdriver bit and another with a drill bit to add a few holes for screws at the ends of cut strips. --A small, flat pry bar is handy to start pulling up sections of the trim. --A good quality anvil pruner cuts the base and trim well. Just be sure to straighten any little crushed sections of spline channel or the pieces of the trim that lock it to the base after cutting. --A pair of diagonal cutting pliers is good for cutting the spline and trimming it close after placement. --A spline roller with a blade on the back end would probably be more danger to the screen than it would be worth in convenience. Standard scissors work for fiberglass screen, anyway.
