Is this shade a privacy shade? Are you able to see through it from the outside?
These shades do allow for some visibility both inside and outside.
How long is the pole that comes with it? I’m pretty short afraid I may not be able to reach
The shades come with an adjustable pole so you can choose the length 2', 4' or 6' long.
Are these able to be mounted inside instead of ceiling mount
These shades can be ceiling mounted or wall mounted.
Can they be cut to width
Unfortunately, shades cannot be cut.
Is the top metal part that it rolls up into 84 inches or is the screen 84 inches? I only have 87 inches to work with.
The measurements that are provided are the overall width, fabric is approximately 2" less.
The bungee system comes with a hook and a plastic cap on each one, but the cap doesn’t fit onto the end of the pole so what is the plastic cap for?
The plastic cap on the bungee system stops the bungee cord from being pulled through the bottom tube. For more instructions, please visit seasunshades.com
Does the screws at either and of the valance allow you to unlock the mounting mechanism ? Can I cut the blind and reattach the mounting mechanism back to the ends? My blinds are three years old and I am not able to return them but do not want to throw it
The crank mechanism and plug bracket are attached to the endcap of the shade. You can remove the endcaps by loosening the screws on the tope side of the valance and the backside.
What are the dimensions of the valance mounting brackets?
The Valance brackets are about 1.75".
