Can I fly two flags at same time

Yes. Just beware of the wind drag. I have two 3 x 5 flags on my pole. The American Flag on top and the Texas State Flag second. Seem to do well in 30/40 mph winds. Beyond that I lower the flags and take them inside(when I can remember).

No. This is a 20’ pole. You need one designed to hang at an angle if you want to mount at an angle.

Can I purchase just 1 section? My flagpole broke in half during the last storm we had. Thanks

Unfortunately you must buy the whole kit from Home Depot. The mfg does not offer parts. My own flag pole was messed with and one section needed to be replaced when wind blew it down. However second hand information that was received recently, suggested that I find a pipe shop and try and match up the same size type pipe. I am going to try that process before I buy the complete kit. And another however, buying another kit will give you replacement parts for the future.

What is the diameter of the base of the pole that fits into the ground ? thanks Mike !

They instruct you to make the hole 24" in diameter. I made mine 18" in diameter. It has not moved or leaned over in the high winds we had just about a month ago in North Texas. Let the concrete cure for a couple of days before placing the pole on the base.

who is the maker of this pole

It's been a few years now. I threw the box away. The pole seems to be well made. I do recall it was made in the USA. The pole still has its new look and it proudly displays our American Flag and the State of Texas Flag.

Don't get me wrong the flagpole looks very nice, but is not very sturdy. It sways and wobbles a little to much for my liking due to loose fitting joints. I worry it will bend with a sudden gust. The price was awesome it was inexpensive so as the saying goes you get what you pay for. My reason for not recomending this pool to others I would suggest to spend a little more money for better quality. Over all I love the look it adds to my property, it has stood up to some wind so far so I will enjoy it and hope for the best.

This flag and flagpole are a good value. You can't expect a solid steel pole and brass eagle top for $129. The flag is excellent quality and the aluminum pole is of good construction. Although, I did read all the reviews before receiving it and I too decided to reinforce the pole with schedule 40 pvc. And I also did with the base collar, using a piece of schedule 40 pvc 24" long. Giving it extra support for $16 seemed like a pretty obvious decision. The plastic eagle top is probably the only disappointing thing, but not because it is plastic. It is already showing weathering. But again, for $129, you can't expect the world. We will probably look at upgrading it in the future. Overall, we are very pleased with our flag and pole. And thanks to all the reviews on reinforcement, I'm sure we'll be enjoying it for a long time.

Complete pole failure after 6 months
Initially I would have given this 5 stars for ease of set-up and initial quality. But when we found the pole and flags on the ground 6 months after we put it up, our opinion has changed. The failure was because the pole sections spin on each other as the wind changes. By 6 months it had completely worn through the swagged neck on the first section which can be seen in the attached picture. We contacted Seasonal Designs but received their condolences and no solutions.

This is a great product. This is the second one I bought due to the high winds neglected to bring down the flag during heavy winds and it broke the bottom section at the first slip joint. The flag looks outstanding. I also installed the solar light at the top so I don.t have to lower it in the evenings. Highly recommend this product.

This looks amazing so far. To be fair, I didn’t have to set it since it was just to replace a broken pole from my old flag pole set. But so far it has withstood 50 mph winds in a couple rain/thunder storms. But I do live in Idaho where we have constant wind and it’s help up fine.

Straight to the point our review after 30 days is going to be how we reinforced our poles from breaking because we live in high winds. We did the normal set up by directions but after reading reviews of bent and broke poles we went back to Home Depot and bought 2 PVC poles that were 1 1/4 inch at 10 foot each for about 5 bucks a pipe. First thing you do is put all your flag poles laying on the ground together, then back off your two screws that mount your cleat almost all the way out. Run your two PVC pipes from top to the bottom and make sure it is flush at the bottom with the pole. Once flush with the bottom you can screw back in your cleat screws that will also go into your PVC pipe. Now your ready to add your attachments to the top of the pole like a Annin light from HD for about 40 bucks and remember if you fly our colors at night she should be illuminated during darkness by Flag Etiquette. As the pole is on the ground run your rope thru the pulley and half your rope so you have equal lengths on both sides of the pulley then you can tie a fisherman's knot to join both lose ends together. If you don't know how to tie that knot there are great vides on you tube that are so simple to tie after you seen them. Now you can set your pole into the sleeve but will need a few people to be safe. Once that is done just attach your flag and secure the line to the cleat.

We've had this pole up for a year and it has worked quite well. We have high winds in our area and daily breezes. The pole is fairly flimsy, being aluminum, and bends in the wind, but it has not fallen or broken. As a matter of fact, it seems to have a developed a tilt like many trees in high wind areas. I wanted to attached a second flag but the pull during high wind might be too much. The main design flaw is the eagle topper which tends to catch the flags and either tear them or exacerbate any existing tears. Fortunately, the pole is light enough so I can disassemble it and remove the forlorn flag and hand over to the local boy scout troop for proper disposal. The eagle can also be removed by unscrewing, or just don't install it in the first place. The pole installs easily enough. A 2'x 2' hole is required into which concrete is poured before inserting a hard plastic sleeve. The pole fits into the sleeve and then the hole is fully covered with dirt. The flag is a good nylon flag but like any "all-weather" flag on the market, nylon or polyester, it will last only a few months in high wind areas. More, perhaps with the ball topper rather than the eagle. It's affordable compared to some of the other poles for sale at HD. A little flimsy, but it's been holding up.
