Keep your lights, darks, delicates and linens separate with the Seville Classics Deluxe 3-Bag Laundry Hamper Sorter Cart with Folding Table. The lightweight table lifts up for convenient bag removal; it features 100% polyester-foam padding and a machine-washable 100% cotton fabric cover for convenient cleaning. Use the space to fold freshly laundered linens and clothes, or as a table for pressing wrinkled slacks, pants, shorts, and shirts. Bags are constructed from heavy-duty, machine-washable 100% polyester canvas and provide about 1.5 cu. ft. of space each. Simply throw the bag into the wash when it's ready! No, the top of the table cannot be used as an ironing board.
I wouldn't use it for ironing. Too much cushioning. Iron wouldn't be stable if left standing on this item.
I have the Seville 3 bag sorter and would like to add the ironing board top. Can you order just the top.

That was one of the reasons I bought it so I can use it for ironing at times too.

Do not know as I have not tried it but looking at the top material I cannot see what you could not use it.
