Where to Use Sevin Insect Killer Lawn Granules
Use Sevin Insect Killer Lawn Granules on lawns, fruit & vegetable gardens, ornamental plants & shrubs, flowers and your home perimeter. For edible garden crops, follow the recommended pre-harvest intervals and application rates on the product label.
Step 1:
Measure your area to determine how much product is needed.
Step 2:
Pour granules into spreader. Use a broadcast spreader for large areas or a drop spreader for small, precise areas.
Step 3:
Broadcast lawn granules to ensure uniform coverage. Apply on calm days, with no rain forecast for 24 hours.
Step 4:
Water-in immediately after applying granules to release the active ingredient. (Sweep scattered granules off sidewalk, driveway, and street back onto lawns or gardens before watering.)

Waste of Time and Money!
I used my spreader to treat my lawn with Sevin granules to control sod webworms. I followed the directions! Now, it's August. Dead patches all over my lawn and the little white moths are happy and healthy flying everywhere.

Did not kill my ants
Waste of time and money. My ant mounds in my back yard are thriving. Switching back to Bug B Gon.

Seems to work.. after less than week grubs came to the surface and I read that once you treat the area they will come up.. so far so good!!

Mosquitos
I was recommended this product for my yard, I also read this iI was recommended this product by a home Depot representative For my yard... after doing further research on other sites this is an insect killer for Mosquitoes... after purchase I can not find anywhere on the lake in the 100 insects listed it repels or kills mosquitos... only time will tell

This product is great for treating for sod webworms. Last year they literally destroyed my lawn and the only thing that seems to help was the Sevin. This year I want to get ahead of the curve and start applying the treatment. This is the time of year that they start laying eggs so this should help to treat them.

Bye bye ants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every year I feel im fighting off mostly ants in my yard and other tiny insects. Not this year. Easy to use just sprinkle on the lawn and wait. Lasts for up to 3 months as well. Great thing about it it wont hurt my vegetable garden nor my flower gardens. Bag treats about 10000 square foot. Thing i loved most about it was that I could use it for a barrier around my house. So no more ants coming this summer. Feel sorry for my neighbors as the bugs are gonna stay out my lawn this summer.

Bye bye spiders and ants!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house is surrounded on three sides by trees/woods and the other side is the lake. We get invaded by a ton of different insects from spiders to ants to mayflies to stinkbugs. Sevin Insect Killer is the perfect product for my area since it protects up to three months and that is when we have the bug issues. The product is easy to use and it works. I need the spiders to STAY AWAY from me, my lawn and my house. I love that it kills over 100 insects so I only need one product. I just used a spreader to evenly broadcast it throughout my yard and watered right after and kept kids and pets off the lawn for a bit. So far it seems to be working great; I haven't see the GIANT spiders we normally get every year yet. The webs just destroy the house so it'll be quite noticeable. I wore gloves and a mouth mask to avoid any of the product on me. I would use this again and I would recommend the product!
