Hi Dave, Yes, this will work but you will have two end ribs that will not be in use and you will also have to use the two separate covers which will cause leakage. We suggest calling us and purchasing this unit in the size you require. Our customer service team is available 7 days a week at 1-800-932-9344.

Why does the 12ft x 28ft cost 300 and the 8ft x 8ft cost 475???

Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot, LucianL33. Pricing reflects different market forces than just being online. Demand, geographics as well as seasonality affect the price of an item. It’s the same reason you will find a Air Conditioner or Snow Blower may be priced differently at an Alaska store than you find at a Florida Store.  The pricing for ShelterLogic 8 ft. W x 8 ft. D x 8 ft. H PE Garage without Floor in Grey with All-Steel, Corrosion-Resistant Frame, Grays Internet #202718930 Model # 76803.0 and the other items in the line have been set by the manufacturer. Are the flaps at the bottom long enough to anchor them with bricks on a cement patio?

Fulfills the purpose I purchased it for. Assembly wasn't difficult but the directions could be a little clearer with better detailed assembly pictures. Anyone with a little mechanical skill should be able to assemble this shelter without too much difficulty. This shelter ships with a frame kit for a basic 8 ft shelter plus 2 additional boxes with 4 ft extensions each to make up the 16 ft length. There are only 2 diagonal braces installed at one end. For a wind rated shelter I would have liked to see 2 diagonal braces at the other end, but none are provided or called out in the assembly instructions. One of the extension boxes had 4 extra frame tubes, 1 5/8 dia x 27 long, not in the parts list or called for in the instructions. Throw-a-way parts. Why not replace those with wind braces for the other end of the shelter? The only other issue I had; all seams are heat sealed, not sewn. There was an area on one end of the covering that forms the pocket for the ratchet strap that wasn't sealed. Fortunately it is on the inside when installed, so hopefully it won't be an issue. Overall, an ok shelter in this price range that fulfills the purpose purchased for.

Building this can end a marriage. [kidding...i think] Directions are poor at best. Parts are identified with barely legible 6 digit numbers stamped on the parts. The instructions identify parts with 1 digit numbers. [well to be fair it depends on the drawing, some 6 digits, some 1]. If you don't tighten as you put together the frame will shift breaking the plastic "ANTI-RACK DEVICE" This becomes a problem later when you have to partially disassemble the frame to install cover. Once the frame is assembled, [try and do that without breaking the plastic bits or bending the light gauge tubing], now the ends and the cross rails you just installed need to be removed to install the cover. That's about a third of what you just built. The bends on the lower end tubings, [10226]or [1] depending on the sheet you're looking at, do not match so the building is not straight. Hardware is more poorly labeled than the structure components. Some parts were mismatched as if they pulled the order from two different production runs. Don't be mislead by the photo on the website, look at the one at the on the site then look at what actually was provided. in the website photo the top of the unit seemed significantly wider than the actual.[I went back to the site and you can find a note that the photo is just a representation or something to that effect]. A simple labeling system of "A"connects to "A" and "B" connects to "B" would have made this a million times simpler.

Overall satisfied. Instructions were a little unclear but made sense together with watching some Youtube videos. Very sturdy once completely assembled. I was able to assemble the whole thing by myself. Unit came with tie down stakes, no need to purchase separately . Due to sloped walls and floppy door panels, interior dimensions are less than I expected. Good thing I ordered one size larger just in case. The only negative - there is no way to tie up the front door flap as shown in the photo. It has to be shoved off to the side and tucked behind a horizontal bar.

So I loved the shed, it worked great at the lake house to store the lawn mower, the bikes and rafts. But when we arrived this Spring this is what it looked like. It DOES NOT do SNOW. The warranty does not cover snow. Purchased May 18, 2017.

Hi PJ,

We are glad to see that you loved the shed! When properly assembled and anchored its compact size and round shape do provide a natural shedding of the elements but, unfortunately, this shed is designed as a temporary shelter and is not live load rated. If you would like to keep it up year round you would have to ensure that any excess snow accumulation is being brushed off with a soft sided tool. For more details please give us a call at 1-800-932-9344.

Thank you ShelterLogic

had to buy an entire replacement in order to switch out bow-trusses and the cover due to rips. mind you i live at 10,200’ and the snow-load was very high last season. it made it through around 10 seasons and in Blue River Colorado that’s truly saying something. very pleased with my shelter logic.
