Hi Danni-These bed casters mount via an 04 (3/8" x 1-1/2") friction stem. Also included in the package are fitted sockets that can be added to wooden bed frames or replace those originally included with your bed frame. The combination of these parts make this quite a versatile solution.
No, come as a packet of two for under $8, so less than $4 per caster socket. I only needed one but now I have an extra.
Cbc, thank you for your question. The answers from the community are correct, the width of the base of the stem is 1/2".
Bill, thank you for your question. We do not manufacture replacement sockets for this particular caster. The sockets included are made specifically for these Bed Frame Casters.
Hi Anne, hold the caster in one hand, in the other have a large wide blade flat head screwdriver and lightly pry the socket up. It should come pretty easily so don't slip and hurt your other hand. Hope that helps.
Yes you have to twist then pull off.
Approximately 2,25 inches.
If the existing wheels are the same size, it should fit. The wheel has a plastic socket that fits into the frame. If your frame has plastic sockets already attached, you will have to remove those (easy with pliers, break them off) and then fit the wheel with socket into the hole on the frame.
Hi, I paid $5.30 for a 2 pack, plus tax. I ordered other items to get free shipping. Otherwise, I would have purchased them in the store d/t shipping cost.
Only those that require a 1/2 inch diameter socket.
