A:Â hard.
by|May 27, 2022
A:Â I wouldn't call them hard, more like firm. But, they are hollow so there is flexibility. They do the trick though. On note is that I had to double up on some doors where the gap between the bottom of the door and the floor were wider (I was renovating an old house and used these to hold the doors on place after painting).

A:Â That might work. We cannot say for sure because we have not tested it. But they should work without the hot water.

Other reviews say these are hollow, but to be more specific, they also do not have a solid bottom/base. These would only work on the lightest of doors.

I thought they would be bigger, and less flexible. They seem a little lightweight, but I guess they will be okay for doors that aren't too heavy, or with too large of a gap at the bottom. They are discreet, due to their small size and dark brown color; and probably fairly durable, since they are made of rubber.

Very weak construction.
You get what you pay for. These are very flimsy. Any pressure against them causes them to collapse. Good for extremely low pressure but a door with an closer will probably go over it.

high value, minimal material, does the job
best price I've seen, lighter than most, but does the job nicely. Might not be sufficiently durable for every day use on a heavy industrial door.
