Q:Will this protect my floors from paint?

A:  Sigman 8 oz. Canvas Drop Cloth is used for paint over-spray protection, minor paint splash protection, wallpaper removal and installation and cleaning. However, it is made from natural cotton canvas fabric and is NOT waterproof or paint spill proof. Paint spills will soak through cotton canvas drop cloths. For waterproof and spill proof paint protection, please use a waterproof plastic tarp or plastic sheeting. For more information, please consult your local Home Depot Paint Department associates.

    A:  Sigman 8 oz. Canvas Drop Cloth is not fire retardant or flame retardant. It is a regular painters canvas drop cloth.

          A:  It wasn't washed, per se, but got quite wet in rain and was dried. There may have been a small amount of shrinkage, but it was uniform and did not cause the fabric to pucker or distort. It retained its original water resistant qualities after this rinse and dry.

            A:  Yes. All canvas drop cloth will shrink and wrinkle after wash. Canvas drop cloth is designed for job site protections. If you are looking for upholstery fabrics or garment fabrics, please check out your local fabric supply store.

              A:  We didn't wash and dry it, but where we painted on it, it did pull up slightly. I would expect shrinkage and wrinkles if you decide to launder it.

                Used to make slipcover for my love seat. Love it, very shabby chic. Bought 2 different sizes. Would not recommend that as there is too much variance in the fabric. Stick to same packaging for home decor project.
