                I believe you could, but remove all the dishes and racks first, and spray it on.. wiping it off will remove the scale. Then rinse!

                  Yes, I believe it would do an excellent job. I've never tried that, but the way it cleans the tub, I think it would do really well in a dishwasher. Be sure to remove everything you can from the dishwasher first, the racks and whatnot. Good luck!

I use this cleaner in my bathroom and kitchen area because it works to remove oxidation from showers, sinks, tubs, and other surfaces. At first I tried it on my kitchen sink, but I didn't notice a real difference, but the sink is old. Then I tried it on a glass goblet that had been used for a plant. I had tried scrubbing it in the past, but nothing worked. Then I tried Simple Green's Lime Scale Remover...all I can say is that it actually works.

                          Simple Green Fabulous Clean
                          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know what to expect when I tried Simple Green Lime Scale Remover. Trying to battle the very hard water in our home has been a constant struggle. Even with normal regular cleaning, the spotting and build-up is bad on our half shower door and on sink fixtures, etc. I sprayed it directly onto the surfaces, and scrubbed with a stiff non-metal scouring pad, and rinsed. I was instantly impressed with the results on the shower door. The sink fixtures took two applications to remove. I saw bright shiny surfaces, that looked like new again! The results were fast and amazing! It's formulated to remove lime scale, mineral deposits, hard water stains, soap scum and oxidation. I love that it comes in a handy 22 ounces size bottle. The spray pattern on the nozzle directs well. There are no harsh fumes to inhale while using. I was so impressed with the fast immediate results that I'm excited to use it on a variety of other cleaning projects. It can safely be used on sink faucets, showers, tubs, sprinklers, spigots, and many other surfaces. It doesn't scratch or etch the surface, and can be used on ceramic, glass, stainless steel, chrome, copper and more. Simple Green Lime Scale Remover is my new best household cleaning helper.

                            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this on my shower and it worked great. All I did was spray it on and left it for a few minutes. It is not super strong like bleach but it does smell so you want to walk away for sure. I came back after maybe 5-10 mins and rinsed it off and it worked great. You can see in the photo I sprayed the right side and not the left. This was with zero wiping or scrubbing. Overall, this is a good product.

If You want to deep clean your tub, sink and shower this product is great! It contains no harmful chemicals and is completely safe to use on all of your hard water deposits. I spray it on and walk away and when I come back it has removed all of the water stains, soap scum buildup and any mold and mildew and leaves a nice , pleasant scent. This is a well-made, quality lime scale remover.

                                    Powerful and Effective Cleaner
