AnswerOnce the decal is installed they will stay on the wall until you wish to remove them. You just need to make sure your wall is smooth and flat (not textured) and that no specialty "non-staining" paint has been used.

AnswerIt sounds like you have a chair rail trim halfway up the wall? If so, many of our customers start the tree from the top of the chair rail, but cut off half of the bottom trunk and install just the top half like the main photo.

The sheer number of pieces was intimidating, at first. We followed the directions exactly. Step by step, a beautiful tree grew on my wall! I love it!
This would be difficult to do alone, but my daughter and I had a lot of fun watching my tree grow!
The decal came with everything needed to get it in place. We did follow each step. I think that's important to do to have a beautiful wall in the end. Installation isn't difficult or intimidating, if the directions are followed.
The few extra pieces that are included will be helpful if I need them later on.
