The H2.5A single-sided hurricane tie is designed to resist moderate loads at the rafter/truss-to-top-plate connection. As part of a continuous load path, the H2.5A resists both lateral and uplift loads. The symmetrical design eliminates the need for separate right and left parts.

It is likely that your home has some uplift connectors though depending on the year built and code requirements locally would impact to what extent there are uplift connectors. This is not something we would be able to say for sure either way for any home/building manufactured. If you need more information or have additional questions, please contact the Simpson Strong-Tie Customer Service team at 800-999-5099. We look forward to hearing from you.
