Both are designed to support a typical engineered lumber beam 3-1/2" wide and from 9-1/2" to 11-7/8" tall. Each requires different fasteners (the HUCQ410-SDS connector comes with the 2-1/2" SDS screws) and each has different allowable load capacities. Please take a look on Strongtie.com and search HHUS and go to the section just below the load tables and you will see a load table titled "Load Values with Strong-Drive SD Connector Screws" to determine which screws you can use with your model HHUS and what the loads will be using the SD Connector screws.

A:  Hello Danny, this is Ricardo from Simpson Strong-Tie. The model number on The Home Depot site is in the upper right hand corner. When I click on the link you sent this question from, it points to HHUS210-4 for a 4 ply 2x10 joist. This hanger is the standard hanger with G90 galvanization. It is not the hot dipped galvanized version. That model number would be HHUS210-4HDG. I hope this helps.
