Can APVA6 be used in a vertical orientation or only in a lateral orientation? I only plan to use 1 per post end in a vertical orientation, can this still withstand high winds? If used in a vertical orientation does that reduce the load rate? Thank you

This will depend on the amount of load required by the connection. If you are not sure, we would suggest consulting with a design professional. I want to use these to attach two 4X4 pieces at a angle of 135 degrees. Actually this is a deck support vertical post with a 45 degree diagonal brace at the top 2 feet. Can the 90 degree angle be opened up to 135 degrees?
