yes...but make sure that what attaches to it is secured to something else... Wobbles.. I used about 4 ft above ground 4x4.. I bought several and ended up only using 2... poured concrete with posts in ground for 4 others...

Yes, just make sure the cement footing is large enough and deep enough to support the weight
