A: SET-XP epoxy-based adhesive could be used for dowelling rebars as well as anchoring threaded rods into concrete. Copy and paste the following link into your web browser for information on SET-XP: https://www.strongtie.com/epoxyanchoringadhesives_adhesives/set-xp_adhesive/p/set-xp Note that SET-XP does not cure when temperature of concrete is less than 10°C. The cure time ranges between 2-3 days when temperature of concrete is between 10°C and 16°C. As a result, epoxy-based adhesives are usually used during the warm season. You may want to consider acrylic-based anchoring adhesive such as AT-XP if used during the cold season. AT-XP could be used when temperature of concrete is as low as -18°C.
