A:  The ST2115 is 20 gauge which is the lightest gauge strap we offer. Only bend products that are specifically designed to be bent. For those products that require bending, do not bend more than once. Bending steel in the field may cause fractures at the bend line. Generally, 18-gage and 20-gage straps may be bent up to 45-degrees without damaging the strap. Reduced loads may apply due to angle of load and/or wood crushing which has not been evaluated by Simpson Strong-Tie. Thank you!
