The WBSK workbench and shelving hardware kit provides the hardware and fasteners to build a workbench or shelving unit. The kit features the Simpson Strong-Tie Rigid Tie RTC2Z corner connector that makes it easier to make strong and durable corner connections with 2x4 lumber using no angle cuts or bolts. Each kit contains enough RTC2Z connectors to construct one workbench. Two kits are necessary to build a four-shelf unit. With the WBSK kit, a professional quality project can be achieved in a couple of hours. When lumber is added, DIYers can customize and complete the project they need to fit their space.

The shelving project finished without any issues. The material was perfectly matched, very detail instructions were easy to modify to fix my custom space requirements. Simpson Strong tie shelving kit is the way to go for DIY like myself. This was my fourth project using Home Depot supplied materials and Simpson Strong Tie kits.

I recently purchased the Simpson Strong-Tie kits to build some shelving. As a homeowner and non-construction person, I liked the idea of a kit so that I would have everything I needed to build my shelves. I have built shelves with kits from other companies and they are not nearly as sturdy as these shelves. Basically, the unit took me two days to build. One day to cut all the boards and another day to assemble the shelf. I wish the instructions were a little more detailed, but the videos they have on the website were a big help.
