Hi Ricky, currently the plug type that we use is a coaxial power connector with DC barrel size E which is 3.4mm OD x 1.3mm ID. -SLHG
What voltage does the solar cell output? DC?
Hi Ricky, if you have a meter you can set it to Volts DC, insert the red lead inside the panel plug, and put the black lead on the outside of the plug. While it's in direct sun it should have an output of up to 8 volts. The pump needs 4v to work. If you get between 0v and 3v it would be too low. -SLHG

I accidentally connected the cord before looping it through the back of the fountain. Is there anyway to disconnect the cord to loop it? I can?t get it to budge
Yes, the plug has a threaded cover on the wire that screws on over the plug to hold it together so to disconnect it you will need to unscrew the plug cover first then you can pull it apart, but you wont be able to pull it apart if you haven't unscrewed the cover. Does this fountain also come with electrical cord to use without solar? I would love to have this in the corner of my living room on a stand surrounded by my plants.
NO, This fountain does NOT come with an electrical cord, absolutely not. You must use it as a solar device. Also, it will work only in DIRECT FULL sunlight. Without that it will not work at all. The birds like it whether or not it flows. The vivid cobalt blue color is beautiful.
