Handy D-Handle 4 Pack Ratchet Tie Downs
I got these straps to keep in my truck toolbox. I haul my 4-wheeler around spraying and seeding. I also haul various items that in propane tanks or anything that needs strapped down. Since they are 14 ft long, they will reach around anything I need to haul or strap down. The ratchet works well for putting pressure and is easily released. I find these straps easy to use and they fit nicely in my trailer tool box. Very handy straps

Nice, strong, easy to use straps. Reusable Storage Case, meh.
I judged this review on the straps and not the storage case they came in. Can you reuse the case? Yes; it comes in an "eco friendly" plastic case. Mine was already cracked out of the box, though, and the plastic is not the easiest thing in the world to deal with, but it does work. The straps, thankfully, are MUCH better than the case they came in. The ratchets are nice and sturdy and I like the padded handles that make it easier to handle, especially when you've got the straps really tight. The hooks are heavy duty; I was impressed by their heft. The straps are rated to 3000 pounds, which should be more than enough to strap down some tree branches to take to the dump or help someone move or something, and they have a convenient velcro strap to wrap around any extra unused strap while in use or to provide tangle-free storage. I look forward to using these more.

Handy items for the truck bed
These are standard ratchet style straps. They are bright orange so they are easy to find no matter where you keep them. Each strap in this four pack has a working strength of one thousand pounds and a break strength of three thousand pounds so they will be plenty strong for you basic needs. I have 8 straps at all times in my pickup, they roll up nice and neat and fit into a nice case to keep you vehicle neat.

Useful tie down straps with great design
Beyond the usefulness of these tie down straps, there is much to like about their design. Let’s start with the case. They come in a sturdy case that can be used to transport them. After use, you can put them back on the spindles. Makes for both easy storage and easy transportation. The handle has a great ratcheting effect. Not just dependent on sliding a strap through and hoping tension holds it, these ratchet tighter almost like a winch. Overall, outstanding product.

Awesome Heavy Duty Tie Downs perfect for trailer use!
SmartStraps 14 ft. x 1 in. Green 1500 lb. Padded D-Handle Ratchet Tie Down (4-Pack), Orange came just at the right time, as I am soon to get a new trailer, and these will be perfect for using with it! These straps are in neon-orange, heavy duty, and good ratcheting mechanisms. They hold tight. Plus they come with a great plastic storage case which makes it easier to store in the truck. They are easy to operate and do the job. These straps are engineered in the USA, made in Thailand with components from China. I rate these 5*s out of 5. Perfect! Thank you Winston Products Company for allowing me to try your product for review. Thank you Home Depot Seeds for offering this item to me.

excellent quality, smooth mechanism, strong webbing
This review is in regards to a four pack of ten foot ratchet straps. Seems like there might have been a mix-up. These are excellent ratchet straps, designed for moderate loads but at only ten feet they're not suitable for larger appliances or to secure items across the cargo area of a moving truck. I prefer straps that are a minimum of twelve feet and up. However, at ten feet these are great for securing smaller items. The ratchet mechanism is traditional and works smoothly. They come with a piece of velcro sewn to the end of the strap which can be used to secure extra, loose strap. I actually removed the velcro as I find it interferes when the strap is run through the pulley mechanism. Also, the way I pack my straps for storage I need to run the free end of the strap through the pulley twice and the velcro made it almost impossible. I use all kinds of ratchet straps of different weights and lengths. These will be good for small, but heavy items.

Best strength rating in its class
A good set of ratchet straps are a must have for the DIYer. Not only have I used straps fro securing loads of building materials or piles of brush to be hauled away but also for pulling metal fence posts into plumb and other assorted projects. SmartStraps 14 ft. x 1 in. Green (not referring to color) 1500 lb. Padded D-Handle Ratchet Tie Down (4-Pack) in Orange are really nicely constructed ratchet straps. They have thick, padded ratchet levers for comfortable use, have a 1,000 pound working load with a 3,000 pound break-strength rating so I am not sure where the 1,500 pound rating comes from in The Home Depot’s description. To top that off, they come in a reusable storage case, although I keep mine in a pocket on a door in my truck without the case. The long strap has an attached hook-and-loop securing strap to help your organization and to secure any excess strap during transport. You may find a set of 4 ratchet straps for a lower price, but you will have to look hard to find a set that has the strength and features of these from SmartStraps.

Strong Quality Ratchet Tie Down (4-Pack)
It is June and Hurricane Season in Florida again. It is best to be prepared for a possible storm and have the things on-hand that you will need to tie down things outside. The SmartStraps Ratchet Tie Down (4-Pack) is a great choice to own. The strap are 10 foot by 1 inch wide and are bright orange in color. The package states they have a 1,000 pound work load and a 3,000 break strength. The ratchet has a padded D-Handle shape that give a great grip. The strap has an integrated Velcro wrap for storing the rolled up strap in the reusable storage case or tying off excess strap when in use. The storage case even has a carry handle for transporting the straps to your need location. These straps are perfect for tying down items in trucks and trailers when moving furniture, large boxes and appliances. I like to use ratcheting tie down straps from my boat lift to the pilings to keep the lift from swinging in high winds.
