SmartStraps 10 ft. x 1 in. Green Standard Ratchet
I like the packaging used to display the straps, but if you need to use the it I would go ahead and remove it as I did. I slid the straps half way in and ratcheted the strap down and used the wire twist to secure the straps to the rachet. The straps come with coated hooks so that you don’t scratch or damage the item you are securing the 10 feet straps to for a secure tie down. The safe work load is 300 pounds and the break strength is 900 pounds. This should exceed the usage by the DIY persons.

Keep your load safe!
The quality and finish on these ratcheting straps is excellent. The 10" X 1" straps are a little bit slippery and made it more difficult to work with. It is important to note that 900 lbs is the breaking strength while the safe work load is 300 lbs. The ratchet mechanism works well to tighten and to release, but there are no plastic grips to make it a little easier on your hands. The 3" hooks are stainless steel with a coating to help prevent scratching. These straps should work great to tie down loads in your truck bed, keep bundles of materials together, securing loads to hand trucks, as well has many other lighter duty tasks. I will get lots of use from these straps.

Right number of straps for small to medium loads
My Review for Smart Straps 10 ft. x 1 in. Green 900 lb. Standard Ratchet Tie Down (4-Pack), is an impressive set of tie-down straps to secure small to medium size loads. The straps are ten-foot in length which is about the right length to avoid the excess strap flapping around. The four pack is the right number of straps needed to control most dump hauling needs as well as most transporting concerns of building materials or furniture.

Good Set
I like this set of straps because they're all metal construction on the ratchets, which minimizes wear and tear. The 900 lbs capacity each gives you a total of 3600 lbs. That would make this set more than ideal for hauling motorcycles, ATVs, etc. The neon green is high visibility so that makes them easier to keep track of for those who tend to misplace things. It also makes them easier to check on during transport.

light duty straps
Funny how straps disappear? Sometimes it's just easier to grab a fresh set! Anyway these are standard ratcheting type tie downs. Rated at 900 lbs, they are about an inch wide and the mechanism works smoothly. I often use them to secure my mower or other cargo on the trailer whether headed to a job or the local land fill. The length is nice because sometimes I like to cut them shorter for specific purposes.

All tied down!
I had bought these about a month or so ago, and when I used them for the first time, they worked great! I used them to tie down my friends and I Harley's, to go to an event! They are easy to use, and have the loop on the strap which works great for hauling motorcycles!~

Great Moderately Priced Ratchet Strap
I've owned a couple sets of these for years now and they just keep on working as well as the day I bought them. They work well strapping things down to my cargo carrier and I highly recommend this product for light duty strap jobs.
