Q:Does this meet building codes? I think not. Nothing should be used for dryer vents except metal ducting (and not the aluminized plastic foil, either).

This device was a lifesaver. I' m a 64 yoa, single lady and my dryer hose popped off. I spent hours trying to connect it and it was so frustrating.
I was in tears , finally got it connected but it wasnt a solid connection. The first time I moved my dryer it popped off again. I tried without success to reconnect it. I felt there had to be a better way. I came across the website for the Snap to Vent. I made my purchase and it worked perfectly and easily. Its the best invention ever. I've had it about 30 days.
Thank you. My only regret is that I should have purchased 2. I might order another one
later. I was sad that it took a long time for delivery. I tracked its progress and it seemed to have come by ground transportation making a few stops along the way. I ordered it for pickup at Homedepo. This product should be recommended with every dryer connection hose or dryer.

Listing is inaccurate. Good otherwise
This does not connect a dryer to an exhaust hose, it connects an exhaust hose to an exhaust hose. The listing said it came with the flexible seal for the dryer outlet, this is incorrect. The ID of the elbow is too small for the dryer outlet, so the dryer exhaust will blow by the elbow if tried to directly connect. Had to go back to duct tape and flexible hose sadly. Home Depot should take this back for their error. good product for intended use.

I returned the item it had the appearance of being...
I returned the item it had the appearance of being used, the plastic was dirty, I immediately returned it to the store, I had receipt because I did not want the associate to think that I had used it and returned for refund. No i did not reorder, I purchased something else.
