    By|Aug 6, 2025

Yes, the SnappyTrap drain kit is designed to accommodate both a dishwasher hose and a Reverse Osmosis (RO) discharge line. The kit includes an elbow with a side connection that can be used for your dishwasher drain line. This branch connects to hoses measuring 7/8 inches. Additionally, the kit comes with an RO drain adapter that can be connected to the garbage disposal, and it is compatible with 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch RO tubing.

I have a single hole sink with a garbage disposal. Can i still use the RO drain adapter?
            ByOct 8, 2024
            1 Answer |
            Answer This Question

Dear Customer - Thank you for contacting us. The Single Bowl Snappy Trap kit includes an elbow with RO drain adapter that can be connected to the garbage disposal. While this setup is possibke, please be aware that a long flexible hose may create a double trap, which could cause drainage issues. To prevent this, ensure proper routing and consider trimming the hose as needed. For installation images and further guidance, please refer to the installation manual:https://www.snappytrap.com/_files/ugd/d49e2c_858fcc257ce0417da429da089c8075e2.pdf Thanks!

Is this smooth on the inside or with stuff get stuck in ridges of pipe?

              Answer This Question

Dear Customer - The Snappy Trap™ hoses are flexible enough to adapt to most spaces under the sink. However, they are not like an accordion or corrugated hoses. The material (Flexible PVC) is sturdy and is meant to withstand years of daily use. Althobugh corrugated hoses are completely flexible, they clog easily and cause bad odors. While, the Snappy Trap™ is in fact reinforced on the outside the hose connectors have a smooth interior which allow an easy water flow to prevent buildups or clogs. Should you have any other questions or comments please contact us at support@snappytrap.com. Thank you!

Can this be used with under the sink venting?
                ByMay 15, 2024
                1 Answer |
                Answer This Question

Dear Customer - Thank you for contacting us. The Snappy Trap installation should be positioned prior to the under-sink vent. While it can function alongside the vent, it does not include a connection for it. Therefore, the vent must be separately installed in the drain pipe.

Love this product. Have used it in last home and again in my new place but this time in my kitchen to free up more space for storage. Easy instructions, no gluing necessary.

We replaced a dual sink in our mountain home with a larger single sink. The closest hardware store is a ways away so I purchased this snappy trap to try to avoid another trip for additional parts. This looked like a good universal solution to hook up the disposal and dishwasher to the existing plumbing. The kit contained a variety of different options and worked well. [yes, I know the wiring is messy, that is the next project to clean up :-) ]

Had sink hook up in less than half hour. That's putting new sink and faucet and connecting this snappy trap. Having everything in the bag. Whether you needed it or not, to me that stands out the most. I like the corrugated hose, they give plenty length. I had to cut off about 5". They give you a web site that tells you how to remove the ends and how to cut it. I'm going on two weeks, no leaks. It meets and exceeds my expectations

                    What a life saver !!
I wish I would have taken a before picture. I installed a single basin 33x22 kitchen sink and added a garbage disposer and was converting over from a 50/50 sink and was kinda worried about how I was going to handle the re-piping of the drains . I did not have a garbage disposer to begin with and this product made everything SUPER easy with parts to spare . If you look closely at the picture all I used from the existing plumping was the stub out . Definitely recommend

This product was fast, easy and very versatile to install. I'd give it six stars if I could. No leaks, no fitment problem. Wonderful idea to have a kit in a bag. All parts were spot on with zero defects. My kitchen sink appreciates the new plumbing as does my wife. Soon plumbers will be obsolete if the Depot has anything to say about it.

Tube gets brittle, collects debris, and breaks
Easy to install and flexible enough to work around existing configurations on a couple of different kitchen sinks. Unfortunately, after a year, the hot water running down the drain caused the flexible tube to get rock hard. This then leads to debris collecting in the tube. Cleaning it quickly resulted in the brittle tube cracking. The only thing my wife and I can't decide is whether the product should really be called Crappy Trap or Snappy Crap.

                        Great!
New countertops. Kept the old sink because it was pretty new and we loved it. But, changed from top mount to undermount. And that meant redoing all the plumbing and drains. Of course, no plumber could come for at least a month. But, with a little online searching, found this installation kit. Took a bit of planning and maneuvering, but it worked perfectly. All the parts were included in the kit to solve my problems. Installed easily. Great product!

Used whatever parts of it i needed to replace a damaged section of brass pipe. It comes with enough joints and seals to do the job. The flexible mid section makes life alot easyer than trying to find the exact pipe lengths you need.

                          This is the bomb!
We had changed from a double to single basin sink and our contractor got creative with the plumbing change. It promptly started leaking when I knocked it by accident. Fearing a plumber, we went to Home Depot to find everything that might work to undo his creativity and fix it correctly. We found this and it worked like a charm. It was inexpensive, all the parts we needed were included, there is wonderful instructions and videos are available. Great for a novice “home plumber”.
