Best investment ever
I read a couple of negative reviews but trusted all the good ones and I’m so glad I did. I took a chance, wood is so sturdy, of course it kind of chips like all things do that are wooden. you just have to be careful while putting together and obviously maintain it well. Was bigger than I expected so that was a plus cause I was only getting it for my 7 year old, but we needed all the storage it came with! We put it together and loved it! Was also easy to install & only took about an hr.. my daughter was beyond happy with our purchase! Would buy it all over again!!

It's a little smaller than we expected, but meets the specifications shown. Assembly was straightforward and instructions were clear, but there are a lot of pieces and assembly is pretty time consuming.
One of the main pieces contained a factory defect with the veneer cracked and clearly re-glued AT THE FACTORY. The defect was quite noticeable before assembly, but was in a place that would not be seen when assembled. I guess that's why they thought it would be ok to glue it back on and deliver it like that.
Overall, it's acceptable for the price. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about either.

Lovely Apartment-Sized Desk
This is a lovely little desk that was true to the photos. The desk was reasonably difficult to assemble and definitely required two people. My husband and I got it all together in about an hour, mostly because he was great at interpreting the directions; definitely would have been a lot harder for me. There were a LOT of little pieces so I would recommend taking stock of everything before you start--a lot of them look alike. Overall it was in good condition when it arrived. It's quite little, but the perfect size for my NYC apartment.

Exactly what we wanted
The desk arrived well packaged and in good condition. Assembly was no problem and everything went together exactly like the instructions. I was able to put my computer CPU in the lower area below the drawer and hide the wires and outlet strip behind the panel that goes across the back. It looks great.
