Product Details

Southwire Armorlite Type MC Quick Pre-cut Length Whips are suitable for branch, feeder and service power distribution in commercial, industrial, institutional and multi-residential buildings. They can also be used for power, lighting, control and signal circuits. Conductors are made of soft drawn solid copper and are cabled together with a binder tape bearing the print legend wrapped around the assembly.

Q:Are they outdoors approved?

A: Mike, ok I'm not an electrician, I used mine inside. You didn't provide how you intend to use it outside. But when I reviewed the product, I would say No to using this outside. In the past I have only ran outside electric wires through approved piping. Package says permitted use in air-handling spaces and for exposed or concealed installation. This tells me indoor usage only, hidden in the wall or not. Again I'm not an expert, and I hope an expert at the store or elsewhere can provide a solid answer.
