The Southwire 100 ft. Black 12/3 SOOW Cord is for use as a flexible cord in hard-usage environments where the highest degree of oil resistance and extended service life are essential. CSA- and UL listed for continuous submersion in water.
- Use as a flexible cord in hard-usage environments where the highest degree of oil resistance and extended service life are essential
- Ideal for industrial equipment, motors and associated equipment, heavy tools, battery chargers, portable tools and equipment, welding leads, marine dockside power, power extension and mining applications
- Also ideal for temporary electrical power and lighting installations for construction sites
- Can be used in wet or dry locations where temperatures are between 40 - 194 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 - 90 degrees Celsius), except when exposed to oil or coolant where temperatures must not exceed 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 degrees Celsius)
- Also can be used for special applications as outlined in NFPA 70 paragraph 501.140, Class I, Division 1 and 2 locations and paragraph 502.140, Class II, Division 1 and 2 locations
- Rated up to 600 volts
- For indoor or outdoor use
- Flexible jacket is heat-, moisture-, flame-, ozone- and oil resistant
- EPDM rubber insulation
- 3 bare, flexible, stranded, class K copper conductors are cabled with wax-paper fillers and a tissue-paper separator is wrapped around the assembly for easy removal of the jacket
- GreenSpec- and RoHS compliant
