Product Overview
Southwire's AlumaFlex USE cable is used for direct burial from the transformer to the meter base. It should be used with conduit in wet or dry locations. The conductors are made of AlumaFlex AA-8000 series aluminum compact stranded. The insulation is abrasion and heat resistant black cross-linked polyethylene (XLP).

It took some research with the damaged samples to find the correct specs for this wire. After receiving my order, I realized that it was the original wire and brand that was in the initial installation 8 years ago. I was glad it was a perfect match since I am the one that necessitated the repair.
