What is the difference between the free standing orange one and the green one

AnswersGauge of the wire in the cable. Green reel has a 12 gauge wire cable (considered heavy duty) and the orange/red one has a 14 gauge wire cable (considered medium duty).

Not for larger shop tools

Works well with smaller shop tools but throws the breaker with larger pieces of equipment. I’m still having to use a 12/3 extension cord for larger equipment (table saw, planer, router). Otherwise it is just fine.
Would recommend for general use around the house.
Set up is quicker, with 6 outlet available even greater...

its pretty good. i welded this to my welding cart so when i need to move around my 120 volt mig welder i can simply spool off as much cord i need from the cart to the nearest outlet for me. seems to hold up really well. hasnt poped a braker on this unit and the cord is flexibel enough in the winter months in ny
