A:  Yes, this can be used for that purpose with conduit, however check your local electrical code before installing.

    A:  Yes, as long as you make sure the wire is well isolated and away of the heating element, I haven’t seen a single case or tankless water heater model where the hot (conductive) wire is near the heating element. This wire complied with most safety regulations and is flexible enough to handle easily during when installing the heater wiring; all the same you should check your local regulations to make sure You comply.

      A:  That depends, the only way you can use this wire to run from a breaker panel to a tankless water heater is if you run conduit the whole way. You'd be better off using romex wire. Also you didn't indicate what voltage requirement the tankless water heater uses.

        Nearly 2 week wait on this to get to the store is not helpful to contractors who have timelines. It's only #10 wire - you should keep the shelfs loaded with this.
