what is meant by "12 solid bare copper wire"?

I'm trying to make a lawn decoration that is two of those BIG WHEEL bicycles, one smaller than the other. I've priced wire from Jewelry Supply places, but it seems they are either coated copper, mixed alloy copper and have gauges such as 21, or 20 ga. wire. I need something a bit sturdy to withstand the Arizona wind from dust storms, etc. Thanks in advance for your help on this.
Asked by: Mimi
There is corellation between the diferent uses of electrical copper wire and its many uses, this corellation is “thickness”, a 12 Gage is mostly use for in-House/homes wiring or convections because is flexibility, 8 Gage and 6Gage are “thicker wires”, therefore are mostly used in other applications that riquire mire thickness due to voltage or any other reason.

1. Is there difference between electrical copper wire and copper wire used in making jewelries? 2. I was wondering if I can use these Homedepot wires by special order to make them half hard(medium hard).
Asked by: Sunny
Cooper is by excelente been used to make many products and items, by excellence copper is in general “the best electricity conductor usually used bare or wrapped according to its uses in any electric devise, The answer is no, there is no difference at all if the wire is made of copper, other than thickness= gage.

This wire is very thick and heavy, and the cheapest pure copper I have found in any form. I was looking for copper nails to kill a tree stump, but actual nails were too small/ short, and ridiculously expensive. This was cheaper than a box of 20 little 4-inch copper nails and I have already cut 20 6-inch lengths that I have been able to hammer down into pre-drilled holes and have 15-feet left, and they are much fatter than any of the nails available.

This wire is dead soft, which I wanted, and the price is better than everybody else I checked, It was less than 25% of the competition, and some of them had prices 10 to 12 times what I paid, even factoring in the cost of shipping!
