Q:Can I use 6/3 NM with ground to run a 50amp line 100 feet for an RV pedistal or will I need to go to 4/3 because of the distance?
by|Jan 5, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A:Â I ran 6/3 60 amp 100 feet to a small outdoor panel, I added two 10/3 runs to two seperate 30 amp RV pedestals. Never have a problem, I can run my 50 amp RV, with both AC units running on 30 amps if I have too. You be fine for for 50 amp.

Worked perfect. Ran this wire to a sub panel with a 50Amp breaker supplying power in the main panel. Needed to run two separate 20Amp outlets for garage refrigerator and freezer. Also ran an additional 20amp line for a garage outlet where I can use my saws or charge all my power tool batteries.
