Not much I can say about this adapter, but it does what it’s designed to to do. You will need the primary part (circuit breaker finder) to use these adapters or in my case a receptacle tester just to check a light socket with my receptacle tester. You get both a socket adapter and a bare wire (alligator clips) convert into plug adapter. The only issue that had was the socket plug is not very long so if your screwing into a deep socket (such as my recessed bulb in my kitchen) you will need to get creative. I used some long pliers to help screw in and out the very short socket. Other than that, it works well.

This is a circuit breaker finder adapter kit from Southwire. It came in very secure packaging, requiring scissors or a blade to open the package. The light socket adapter is two prong and made by leviton. The alligator clip adapter accessory has good size wiring and is a total of 15 inches long from the tip of the clips to the plug. It is made in China.

When trying to find the circuit breaker to an outlet or light and you do not want to do a trail-and-error shut off of all the breakers in the house you would use a transmitter devise coupled with a corresponding receiver that would I.D. that circuit breaker it is fed from. This does not come with all the needed items. This item a s circuit breaker finder adapter kit that would allow you to either screw into a light socket or use alligator clips and a plug. It gives you the ability to adapt to a to what ever you are trying to test. You must still get the transmitter and receiver to actually do the test.

I already had a circuit breaker finder. But, it only came with the plug in transmitter.
This great little adapter/accessory kit from Southwire enables my circuit breaker finder to work with light sockets and any electrical connection where I have access to the wiring. I can't think of any outlet, switch, light or appliance in my house that I couldn't use this on to locate the appropriate circuit breaker in the service panel. It saves me from having to run back and forth to the garage, put a radio or light on an extension cord out to the garage or, worst of all, ask my wife to yell when the lights go off while I flip breakers in the garage, trying to kill a circuit so I can do some electrical repair or improvement.
It's well made, and durable. It's well priced at HD.
This adapter/accessory added to your circuit breaker finder makes it universal for home use. It saves time and money. And, mostly frustration.

Southwire circuit breaker finder accessories pac [60030A adapter kit]
The Southwire circuit breaker finder accessories pac is an add on PAC.
It is a nice addition to the uses of the Southwire 41210S circuit breaker finder tool.
Which you must have in your workshop already to utilize the accessory.
It attaches to the Southwire circuit breaker finder via the 3 prong electical plug. you can utilize the screw on lamp attachment to test a circuit via a lamp or a drop light pluged into the circuit you wish to
explore. Alternatively you can use the allagator clips to attach to the exposed wires in a circuit you are trying to trace.
The pictures show the packaging and what parts are included in the accessories pac.
There is a picture of the [needed] 41210S Southwire circuit breaker finder. I have also shown how they might connect.
The accessory is shown in a drop light lamp. I turn on the lamp fixture and the units - they all light up upon activation. bring the 41210S next to the accessory pac and it will react. Then go to the breaker panel and go past each breaker until you see a green light - indicating the correct breaker for that circuit.

The two adapters come in handy when you're trying to identify new wiring. The alligator clips make it easy to clip onto live wires that don't have a receptacle connect yet. The light bulb socket adapter helped me to locate the circuit breaker for an outlet which I needed to install a ceiling fan. In the past I would need to flip breakers and have someone upstairs scream down to me letting me know the power was off. These two adapters cost around $10 and will not only save you time, but can also help prevent an unwanted shock.
