Product Overview

SpreadRock is not speckled paint. It is an actual layer of rock that spreads on like butter and adds instant beauty and elegance to all kinds of existing concrete floor and wall surfaces as well as masonry, drywall, statuary, planters and more. SpreadRock's real stone composition is not applied by roller. Instead, it is easily applied in a thin uniform layer using a scraper, trowel or flooring squeegee and can even be applied with a texture sprayer. SpreadRock's visual effect is timeless and stunning and will serve you well wherever you live. Harsh winter cold and punishing summer heat and sun are powerless against it, whether used on a patio, pool deck, porch or wall. It also makes for a beautiful and incredibly tough garage floor or other interior surface that can last for years.

  • Real stone formula that instantly transforms surfaces with the elegance of speckled granite

Best Outcome With This Paint
Our front sidewalk was plain old concrete and just looked awful. After researching possible (and not too expensive) options, we selected this paint. Almost a year later and there has been no issues with this paint at all. Still looks as good as the day we did it. A few tips: 1. We power washed the sidewalk 2. The concrete was already very old so no need to use any other type of cleaner or solvent on it. 3. It took just under a gallon of paint 4. We live in FL so this sidewalk takes a beating from rain and heat and it still looks great.

I would recommend Spreadrock Granite but I assure you that you will need double the quantity than it suggests to cover the area your applying Spreadrock Granite too. It looks great but the supposed coverage , incorrect.

    Love my porch
We used this on a very sad front porch that the concrete was pitting and scared. We had a choice to either rip it up and lay cement again or try to paint it with something that will cover. We are homeowners that try DIY projects ourselves to save money. By no means are we professionals. This covered perfectly and smoothly. We put it on with a trowel, we felt we had more control than with a squeeze. If I had one compliant it would be the space it recommends to cover. We had to buy two more gallons for a nice second coat but it was totally worth it. I love my porch, I highly recommend this product but buy more than you think it will take.

      Very Disappointed
I have a 480 sq ft driveway and a 120 sq ft sidewalk off the driveway to the front home entrance. I was told to purchase 21 gallons of Spreadrock to do both surfaces. I also bought the harvest tan textured primer...7 gallons. I have about two gallons left of the primer. It's thick. I hand to hand brush the entire driveway for the first coat, and a roller worked for the 2nd coat. I used one of their squeeges and also tried a hand trowel. Neither produced good results. I came up 10 sq ft short on my driveway when I ran out of Spreadrock for the 2nd coat. The Spreadrock does not spread easily as shown in videos. It will be smooth for a few feet, then it actually becomes like elongated dough that have to be pressed with a trowel to smooth. At the end of a run, you end up with little pieces of rock-sand pebbles. I even tried adding the recommended 3/4th oz of water per gallon. As you move left to right, or right to left on a section, the Spreadrock does not want to blend well even if you mist it with water. When it dries you can actually see a color difference. I used a paint paddle to mix and kept mixing while using the 5 gal pail. Also, I had to use a 2"x3"x3' stake to actually break up the mixture when first opened, the use the paddle.

It took double the amount so instead of 2 gallons for 80sq ft it took 4 gallons. It was extremely hard to apply with a trowel ( it left lines) and impossible to spread with the enclosed Spreadrock rollers.

I "LOVE" my patio now. It looks new and modern. I just followed the directions and it came out wonderfully. I am 71 yrs old, so if I could do it, anyone can. My friends thought I had it professionally done, so they were amazed when I told them that I did it myself. Bravo!!!!!

Makes older cracked cement look, and preform like new again. The front steps don't look like they are 102 years old, which is when they were made.
