This Homeline Circuit Breaker Retaining Kit retains a back-fed breaker when used to secure a circuit breaker to the interior of a load center. It is designed for use with HOM48L125GC, GRB and HOM612L100F/S, RB load centers. This retaining kit features a UL listing and ANSI certification to ensure safety.

the farthest left position #1 has a mounting hole on top to mount the bracket too. The breaker needs to be installed at the #1 position before one can place bracket

Superb. Just the right amount of tension applied. Holds the breaker in a secure embrace. I mean it is the manufacturers UL approved part. This is ideal for keeping the main breaker engaged when removing the fill panel cover. I was gonna joke here about chasing loose breakers around the basement, but some folks have no sense of humor, so I will refrain from posting any such comment. I'll just keep them in the dark!

With a slight modification, it worked on an old GE panel for which no retainer was made. The screw was not needed.

Accessories for our load centers are specific to the load center in which they are to be used, so having the catalog number and series number of your existing load center is critical for proper selection.
