This Homeline Circuit Breaker Retaining Kit retains a back-fed breaker when used to secure a circuit breaker to the interior of a load center. It is designed for use with HOM48L125GC, GRB and HOM612L100F/S, RB load centers. This retaining kit features a UL listing and ANSI certification to ensure safety.

Superb. Just the right amount of tension applied. Holds the breaker in a secure embrace. I mean it is the manufacturers UL approved part. This is ideal for keeping the main breaker engaged when removing the fill panel cover.
I was gonna joke here about chasing loose breakers around the basement, but some folks have no sense of humor, so I will refrain from posting any such comment. I'll just keep them in the dark!

With a slight modification, it worked on an old GE panel for which no retainer was made. The screw was not needed.
