Hi Manbeing, You can either pre-mix it when you combine your oil-gas or pour it directly into the gas tanks. As instructed by Sta-Bil, run the engine for 5 minutes after adding product to treat the entire fuel system.
I wouldn't be afraid to use it. I have had the same thing happen with no problems, and I have been using Stabil products for close to twenty years.
1 oz treats 2.5 gallons. there is a measuring volume on the bottle so you can measure with the bottle and pour directly into your gas tank. Very easy and quick.
Yes. As a matter of fact it should be used in generators if they sit without use for long periods.
Since there's no ethanol in TruFuel, there's no use in adding Stabil to it. I only add Stabil to fuel with ethanol because ethanol destroys rubber used in carbs and injectors.
1-oz. (30-milliliter) treats up to 2-1/2 Gal. (9.5-liters) of fuel. Simple math states that you should use .53 oz. of Stabil; or basically a little over a 1/2 oz.
You would need 1/2 oz. for 1.25 gallons of gas.
Yes. I usually buy gas in my larger can and treat it. Then I mix that with oil in a smaller can.
You would be better off using that remaining has now ,top off any equipment you may have. Then start with fresh gas when lawn mower season rolls around. It's much better for your equipment.
use the adaptor,if u dont have one,u can buy one at a parts store or order on line.
