Product Details

Protect your furniture, appliances and fragile items during a move with the 7.1-Pound Moving Blanket by Stalwart. This quilted pad has a 100% non-woven polyester shell that resists snagging and tearing and an eco-friendly recycled cotton padding to cushion your belongings. The outside of this blanket has zig-zag double stitching to reinforce the shell, and cloth binding on all the corners and edges to prevent fraying. The blanket weighs 7.1 pounds, meaning it will stay in place either in storage or during transport in a car, truck or van. Not only will it protect your belongings, this blanket will prevent scratching and tearing of the interior of your car, truck or moving van. It can also be used to protect the interior of your vehicle from dirt and damage from pets during travel. This pad is breathable to resist mold and mildew, 80 inches long and 72 inches wide, so it can be used to cover motorcycles and boats as well as furniture and boxes in storage to protect from dust and debris. The blanket can be laid on the ground to protect wood, tile and laminate flooring from damage while moving furniture. It's thick enough that it can also be used to deaden sound in recording studios.

          The density of the blanket was very good. My problem with the 2 I received is that they were shedding a significant amount of black dust that contaminated surfaces. I put them outside in the breeze to see if the amount of dust would lessen, but it did not after 2 days. So I returned this item. Perhaps acceptable if you don’t care about the dust problem.
