A: No it’s a fine blade...they sell a corse blade
A: No. The blade backer will prevent a cut longer than 3 +/- inches.
A: The 17-202 is designed for precise cutting including dovetails, miters and tenons. It is specifically designed for fine finish, plywood and hardwoods.
A: 3 5/8 in
A: The teeth are same as the blade. Not sure how to sharpen.
A: The teeth are very fine, so I'm not sure if a sharpener would fit to do the job, but the metal seems soft enough. The blade is just a bit more aggressive than a hacksaw.
A: This is a great question. The short answer is that the teeth are not blackened. In addition to the Fat Max (which is an excellent saw), I do have another saw which has blackened teeth. Each tooth on that saw has three sides. To my limited knowledge, tri-ground teeth cannot be sharpened.
A: i Would check on the Stanleytool.com web site
A: My caliper gets 1/32 inch.
