Really comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They have a very good grip when using them to take out something that is very stuck. It’s a tool that you need to have in your home.

    Sturdy and functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to open these extremely wide and still Have a firm grip on the item I was using that was honestly a little too big for these pliers but they were able to do their job still

Strong enough to do the job!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This small vice grip will easily fit into your pocket but is strong enough to do almost any gripping job. I like the yellow plastic-coated release handle because it takes the strain out of releasing the grip with your fingers. Nice tool to have close by on any job.

        Great size, good jaws.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the years I have come to appreciate the more compact pliers and their ability to fit into so many places. The teeth and jaws hold onto the work but aren’t too sharp they ruin what I’m working on. Compact size make them easy to toss in a pocket or a tool bag to do a service call.

          Solid built
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little locking pliers. Works as expected and just the right size for certain jobs!

Nice convenience feature; QA needs improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a sturdy and decently made pair of locking pliers. The comfort feature on the inner release tab is very nice when locking down tight on your workpiece. There are two issues that shouldn’t make it past quality control: 1. The cross hatching at the tip of the upper jaw wasn’t executed properly. 2. The turning screw that adjusts the jaws doesn’t operate smoothly. Otherwise they function fine. Whether the teeth will hold up well after extended use remains to be seen. I’d imagine they’d hold up as well as the other competitor in the market after whom these types of pliers are named, as I see little difference in quality between the two. No process is perfect and I may have received the exception to the rule. At any rate these issues can be corrected with a little more quality assurance.

Nice small set of locking pliers, the 6" size of these is about the smallest I would purchase. They are handy for small odd jobs around the house, but not Necessarily big enough for the bigger automotive or home improvement projects. All in all very good value. What's also nice is they are small enough to slide right into your pocket when in the middle of a project. I have used them on smaller nuts and bolts and the locking mechanism seems to be solid and easy to release. These are great for a small home toolbox. The plastic handle on the back door of my van snapped, so these locked right on to the square peg and will serve as my door handle until I can order a new handle. Would recommend for small projects.

This is a small, but very functional locking pliers. Jaws will open to 1.25 inches and the overall length is 5.75 inches. The release lever is very easy to trip with my little finger, even when the pliers are very tightly clamped. This is just right for working in tight places., and for holding small metal parts being drilled on a drill press. The adjusting screw operates very smoothly.

I recommend having the Stanley 6" Locking Pliers in my tool box because they are compact enough to fit in my pocket, but strong enough to hold on to the most stubborn project that I am working on. The curved locking jaws with rigid teeth, and the easy to turn adjustment screw, makes it impossible for whatever you have to grip, to slip. Size is actually 5 3/4".
